Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. You provide just six pieces of information: gender, birth date, how you'd describe your health, tobacco use status, coverage amount and length of term. These are sufficient for us to show you carrier rates. Personal identification information—your name, where you live, detailed medical records—are only requested when you decide to submit an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The figures show what each carrier is quoting for the health classification you chose. Carriers determine your actual monthly cost through their underwriting process, which may keep, improve, or adjust your classification. Understand that quotes displayed here are estimates and do not constitute insurance offers or binding rates.
What happens when I click Apply?
When you select a quote to proceed with, you're transferred to an application form that already has your information entered. The form is managed by insurance carriers' technology and coordinated by Susman Insurance Agency (a California-licensed agency, License 0B75129). You can pause your application and return to it later, and signature is electronic.
Will I need a medical exam?
That varies by the insurance company, your requested benefit amount, and your responses to health questions. Some carriers now use immediate approval underwriting that allows qualified applicants to skip the exam entirely; others may require one. Every quote presented indicates whether a medical exam is mandatory, possible, or not necessary for that specific offer.
Is a longer term better?
Your term length should match the period when your income is critical to those depending on you—paying your mortgage, supporting children, servicing business obligations. Higher premiums are required for lengthier terms, but you lock in your rate for the full period. The quote system lets you evaluate 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year options at the same time to compare costs.
Does this site sell my information?
We do not. Entering quotes does not involve surrendering your name, phone number or email. We do not purchase, sell or exchange any of your data.
